Moorish Fountain
Descripción
According to tradition, the fountain is named after its former owner. As early as 1647, the Capitular Acts of the Council of Baeza refer to the abundance of water from this fountain and the layout of its pipes. In 1650, the pillars of the fountain were decorated, and in 1882, its water was conducted to the house of Don Pedro Vela de Almazán, making some modifications. In the 20th century, it lost its functionality, becoming an ornamental element of the city's urban furniture. The front is decorated with a shield of Baeza, centered and framed with an elliptical molding.
