Baeza World Heritage Center

Description

It is a space of historical-urban information about the values for which the city was inscribed on the World Heritage List. It also defines the general aspects of its historical, geographical, and cultural context, inseparable from its heritage value, and integrates a series of tools that allow exploring other properties declared World Heritage within and outside of Spain. The center of the World Heritage of Baeza is located in the City Hall of the city, a prominent Plateresque building that was a Jail and the Corregidor’s Palace. This interpretive space has been conceived as an attractive, dynamic, and innovative environment, fully accessible and with a marked didactic character. It is full of experiences to promote and understand the declaration of World Heritage. To achieve this, it uses innovative resources that will make you feel an integral part of the interpretive space and actively participate in it, enjoying a fully inclusive visit that will allow you to approach Baeza with all five senses. You will be surprised by its intelligent tactile models, interactive screens, and sensory panels. The tour is organized linearly. Starting from an introductory panel, you can discover the contents that are part of the exhibition discourse. You can take the tour following the established order or organize it according to your preferences as a user, as all the contents are interconnected.
