La Barbería
Description
La Barbería is in one of the main arteries of the historic center of Baeza. The establishment gives life to an old palatial house that houses a spectacular canteen from the end of the 18th century, perfectly preserved and fully functional, open to the public during the autumn and winter months as an extension to the restaurant and/or events room.
The facilities now occupied were, for decades, the official headquarters of the Peña Flamenca, where many performances and different cultural events have been held over the years.
In addition to a spectacular bar, LA BARBERÍA has a large room on the upper floor with a beautiful heated interior terrace. One which is open to the public throughout the year as an extension of the restaurant and adjoins the rear walls of the University Andalusian International (UNIA).
LA BARBERÍA is a timeless and carefree establishment where people of all ages in a cozy and meticulously decorated environment. In this crowded place, you can taste different dishes of the local gastronomy, fusion cuisine options, and dishes prepared on the olive wood barbecue.
The gastronomic offer includes dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans, exquisite desserts homemade, and a careful variety of wines and beers from around the world (tap or bottle with more than 50 references), liqueurs, or vermouths, among which those made on the land stand out. A multitude of typical Jaen products of nature are used in the elaboration of the tapas, such as chips, sausages, pâtés, ochíos, scolds, piquitos, etc.
